GitHub Enterprise
Hi guys,
I posted in reply to this post (http://help.appveyor.com/discussions/suggestions/437-external-svn-git-support) but wanted to start another thread for this suggestion.
We use GitHub Enterprise in my organisation, which has exactly the same API as GitHub.com (same product, different hosting).
Do you guys have any plans to support GitHub Enterprise? A place to specify the endpoint URL (e.g. http://github.domain.tld/api/) would probably be all that is required, and GitHub can handle the authorization in the same way as on the hosted GitHub.
I would subscribe my organisation today, if we could use our GitHub Enterprise repositories.
Regards,
James

Hi James,
Thanks for the great suggestion!
We're working on AppVeyor Enterprise (on-premise) and the first two version controls supported will be GitHub Enterprise and Atlassian Stash. AppVeyor Enterprise beta will be available early next year - I can put your email into early-bird mailing list, if you're OK with that.
Regarding GitHub Enterprise support in AppVeyor service I'd think about more robust integration, like, for example, putting GH URL at some place under your account and then seamlessly having "GitHub Enterprise" repos/buttons. We'll give a thought. Another thing we are going to work in December is support of "generic" Git and Hg repositories where you put repo URL and credentials/key.
Anyway, nice to see people kicking off GitHub Enterprise support - it's right timing to start talking about that.

Hi Feodor,
Please add me to your AppVeyor Enterprise early bird list. We are very interested.

James
