Feodor,

Any ideas what is going on here:

https://ci.appveyor.com/project/GaryEwanPark/gep13-github-io/build/...

Nothing has changed in my build script, so not sure what is going on here.

Thanks

Gary

    Hi Gary,

Something has changed on RubyGems side.

Adding these two lines fixes the problem: https://github.com/FeodorFitsner/ruby-misc-tests/blob/master/appvey...

I still hesitate to change that on image level (quite a few people reported about that issue), but would probably do that during the next update.

Thanks for getting back to me, I will give this a try just now :-)

Ignore the tweet I just put out! I posted it just as the notification from here came through :-)

Tweet is helpful to identify others with this issue :)
What really surprises me that only few people reported about that. Though I feel it's something affecting everyone.

Yeah, I would have thought a lot of people will be running into this.

Was this something that was "announced" by RubyGems people? I don't remember seeing anything, although this isn't a world I am immersed in, just something I dip my toes into.

I found nothing, but googling shows the problem is quite often though sporadic. And it's not only Windows-specific, but Linux and MAC too. Interesting, Ruby 1.9.3 on build worker images wasn't changed for months...

Very strange! All I can say is, the posted solution worked.

    Here is the proof:

    https://ci.appveyor.com/project/GaryEwanPark/gep13-github-io/build/...

And the commit that I made:

    Thanks
