Trying to add a new project => Error adding SSH key to GitHub repository
I'm getting this error when trying to add a new private repo to an account I just made.
Error adding SSH key to GitHub repository: Response status
code does not indicate success: 404 (Not Found).
Info:
1. Created a new 'company' appveyor user/account.
2. Created a new GitHub user -> our CI/CD bot. It's only got
READ permissions.
3. Auth'd GH with my company appveyor account.
4. Add project -> fail.
Now, i'm guessing this is related to some ADMIN
issue with GH. So .. if it is .. is there any way I can avoid this
by manually adding ssh keys or something? I don't really want to
give the bot Admin access (even if it's a once off thing).

Right, it requires admin rights to add SSH key to the repo.
You can allow it doing that while adding a project. Then remove that right.

That's the only way?

Currently - yes. Looking forward we could check if there are enough permissions and skip that step if not; then show public SSH key and warning.
