see the following twitter discussion.

@appveyor Hi, noticed in Bitbucket we are only seeing 1 build status reported per commit even when there are multiple builds in Appveyor for the commit. Any thoughts?

AppVeyor uses the same "key" for multiple statuses so they get overridden. And this is by design as if there were few consequent builds of the same commit only the status of the last one is displayed.

Thanks for responding. I'm not sure that is how Bitbucket expects. It adds up builds per commit, so you can see "2 of 3 passed" etc. Also has anything changed because we used to see multiple results in Bitbucket?

see https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucket/integrate-your-build-system-with-bitbucket-cloud-790790968.html … submit to a commit specific resource using a changing Key based on the changing build id.

Re-using the same key effectively bypasses the Bitbucket "Check the last commit for 1 successful build and no failed builds" rule since there is no record of build history for the commit

This is valid point. Sorry it was buried under other tweets. We are not sure if we can break exiting customers with this change though. Will update soon.
