I have both pull requests as well as the master branch failing in
0ms. Howevr, clicking on the status only takes me back to the last
good build. I'm not able to diagnose the problem.

Hmm... now I'm not able to kick off a new build against the tip.
Also, you badge isn't displaying. I'm guessing there's a bigger problem going on.

Open General tab of project settings and increase build counter.

I manully increased the build counter and things are working again. Kinda.
Now when a pr is submitted, it builds the master branch as well. I see two entries in the history and the build number is incremented twice. See the attached screen.
Also, the build status badge reads pending whenver a pr is sent. I specifically limited it to the master bracnh. https://github.com/mspnp/iot-journey/blob/master/README.md

If you are working on PRs in the same repo it's expected behavior - GitHub calls webhook two times - one is "push" to the branch and second one is "pull request sync".
