I am new to AppVeyor. I downloaded the self hosted solution and got it up and running. I executed some builds and that part is working fine. The issue is I cannot invite other users. When I try to invite others it says following:

Error sending email with SMTP protocol.

I have set up emails via Gmail (not RAW SMTP config) but I couldn't get it to work. The same happens for project notifications as well.

    Hi Birju,

Most common reason is that SMTP ports are closed/firewalled/throttled/etc. somewhere on the route. In general SMTP is not a good option for production use and you should consider using Mailgun or Sendgrid which are offering generous free layers. Hope that helps.

I checked the ports and it is working fine. I tried with different account and the email notifications are working now. Thanks for the help. I had another query. Is there any way I can attach build log file in the failure email notifications?

It's not possible to attach build log to email notifications, however you notification itself will contain a link to a build someone can follow to the the log.
