Hi Support

Facing very long time in the build queue and builds are not starting. There is a hotfix I need to build and deploy. Please have a look.

    We are looking into that.

It should be working now. We've cancelled some pending builds stuck in the queue, so if you see them as "failed" please restart them.

    Hi Aqil,

First of all, I'd like to apologize for today's AppVeyor downtime and thank you for your patience!

Lately, there were too many issues on Azure environment with stability and performance (which were out of our control), so we decided to run a new environment for private projects.
The new environment is running on dedicated hardware with faster CPUs, SSD drives, 1 GB network and it uses Hyper-V for creating isolated build workers.
It's been in beta testing for some time and showed very good results - customers report 3-5 times performance increase on average.

We are moving all private projects to the new environment and your account is next. There is no downtime, the only thing you'll notice is builds start almost instantly with faster build time :)
However, if you notice any weirdness while being there please let us know.

Let us know about your results! If you are really impressed drop a message here on forums or tweet (@AppVeyor).

I'm experiencing this problem. We are testing the platform with our private GitHub repos. Queue time is typically 3-5 minutes. Today the builds are getting stuck and not starting at all. We are triggering the builds from within AppVeyor, not by commit triggers. Please help us out.

Will take a look. Have you tried cancelling queued builds and starting over?

    Kyle,

We've moved your account to a new environment. It should be much faster now.

I'm having the same problem. I've canceled and started multiple times. It doesn't matter if it's triggered by GitHub or manually via the web site.

    Hi Matt,

I've seen few of your builds were running recently. Is everything ok now?

Hi I seem to be having the same trouble - builds queueing and not running... can this be looked at again?

There is a build under your account that is seems stuck in "running" state. Cancel it and the queue should start moving.

Thanks for getting back to me – I just did as you asked, however that is the 3rd time I’ve cancelled that build… But things are indeed working now. Thanks.

    Hello Matthew -

I've created a new AppVeyor account for our entire team (using
[email blocked]). We have a github account named cm-github-ci (
[email blocked]). I'm able to set up this github account in my
AppVeyor Account Settings, but when I attempt to add a repo to a project,
it tells me Error adding SSH key to GitHub repository: Response status code
does not indicate success: 404 (Not Found).

    Please advise. Thanks!

Most probably cm-github-ci account doesn't have admin rights on that repo.

    Hi,

Are there still build issues? I've had a build stuck for over an hour and I'm unable to cancel it :/

    Thanks,
    John

It should be working again. Apparently, AppVeyor SQL Azure database has reached it's quota. We increased the quota and switched database back to write mode.
