Has something changed in the Build Worker Image
Hello,
I have just made a VERY simple change to a blog post, and now my Octopress site, which was building perfectly, is now failing and complaining about a completely separate blog post.
This build worked:
https://ci.appveyor.com/project/GaryEwanPark/gep13-github-io/build/...
And this build failed:
https://ci.appveyor.com/project/GaryEwanPark/gep13-github-io/build/...
(ok, it didn't actually fail, but there is some big red text towards the bottom :-))
The change that I made was minimal:
https://github.com/gep13/gep13.github.io/commit/780b53ad67341f7812c...
And as you will see, on a completely separate blog post, from the one that is failing the generation process in Octopress.
The only things that I can think are happening are:
- Something has changed in the build worker machine
- My build cache has become corrupt
Are you able to help?
Is there a way from the UI for us to reset the build cache?
Thanks!
Gary

The build cache is getting updated when its folder's CRC changed: https://ci.appveyor.com/project/GaryEwanPark/gep13-github-io/build/1.0.67#L558

Sorry, I am not sure what you mean?!?
Are you saying I would only see line 558 if something is different in the build cache?
I have just started another build with no build caching to try to rule out that as the problem.

Okay, with the build caching disabled, the
rake generate
succeeded?!?!https://ci.appveyor.com/project/GaryEwanPark/gep13-github-io/build/...
Any thoughts on what could be causing this?

The first build that I noticed it on was 2 hours ago. But before that, I hadn't run a build in over 2 days.

Hmm, I am not sure that this would have caused the issue, I had a number of successful builds on the 18th, 19th, and 20th.
I will keep an eye on it, and if it happens again, I will get back in touch.
