How long does a NuGet project feed retain packages?

It seems that packages are purged from the NuGet project feed fairly aggressively. What is the retention policy?

   There is no retention policy at the moment and they shouldn't be purged.

   I'll double-check what I was looking at. I suspect I was interpreting what I was seeing incorrectly then.
