Azure Cloud Services (extended support) with Azure Resource Manager
Hi,
Is the Azure Cloud Deploy to the "new" version with ARM is supported somehow?
If not, do you plan to support it?
Is there any workaround for the issue?
Cloud Services(classic) is now deprecated for new customers and will retire on August 31st, 2024 for all customers. Cloud Services (extended support) with Azure Resource Manager is the recommended replacement.

Hello,
We have have started working on an update to support Cloud Services (extended support) in AppVeyor.
For now you can automate deployment of cloud services with either Azure CLI or Azure PowerShell which are both preinstalled on AppVeyor images:

Hi,
Any updates?
Another issue is that why is it not possible to just disable a project? It
would be a very useful feature.

Hi Norbert,
What do you mean by "disabling the project"?

Hi Feodor,
Sorry for being too brief.
I am talking about suspending a project.
In some cases we want to suspend building a specific project without
deleting the project.
We can remove the webhook also, but it would be much more elegant to have
an on/off switch for the project for pausing/suspending it.
But my main problem was originally the azure cloud service build and deploy
and it was promised more than 1,5 years ago.
Is there any possibility to have that? Or is it already available?
Regards,
Norbert

Hi Norbert,
"Azure Cloud Service (extended support)" deployment provider has been released to production. Here's the docs: https://www.appveyor.com/docs/deployment/azure-cloud-service-extend...
Please let me know if you have any questions.
