Compiling for Unity requires the presence of its managed assemblies (UnityEngine.dll and UnityEditor.dll). It's not good idea to have them in the repository, making it harder to build in Appveyor. It would be great if you added support for Unity builds, similar to what you have for Xamarin.
Do you have any other sugestion for now?
Thanks in advance,
Antao

Can you please drop a download URL for those libraries?

These cannot be downloaded. The assemblies are part of the Unity product. They are located in folder [Unity Instalation Folder]/Editor/Data/Managed/

The EULA, at point 1. of "Grant of License" states:

"Unity grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license:" "if you have licensed a version of the Software other than a trial version and you are an individual or a Legal Entity other than an educational or academic institution, to distribute the runtime portion of the Software, on a royalty-free basis, solely as embedded or incorporated into Licensee Content and solely to third parties to whom you license or sell Licensee Content pursuant to an agreement that is equally protective of Unity and its licensors as this Agreement."

Not sure if it allows (or not) having it in a repository.

There must be more people building for Unity in AppVeyor. Do you know if they are doing it without breaking the license?

    Thanks again.

Just wondering, has there been any progress on this topic?
