install Debugging Tools for Windows
I'm assuming this is not already installed. In order to do source indexing, pdbstr.exe needs to be installed. It comes with Debugging Tools for Windows which comes with WDK 8.1. I have detailed instructions here that the TeamCity guys used to help the fsharp.org projects out.

Ah, just found the installed software list. It is probably installed already.

Yes, the same software is installed on 2.0 build VM images.
Let me know if anything else is missing (excluding F# from another thread).

Well, it seems there is only WSDK 8.0 installed on build machines. I will make sure WSDK 8.1 is also installed on beta build images.

pdbstr.exe comes with 8.0 as well. SourceLink looks in both locations for it.

Anyway, WSDK 8.1 was also installed :)
