IRC notifications
Travis CI allows for IRC notifications to be sent when the build finishes (http://docs.travis-ci.com/user/notifications/#IRC-notification).
It would be very helpful if you could add similar functionality to AppVeyor.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will add an item for that.

Haven't looked into it yet, sorry.

We use AppVeyor for a few projects and we currently funnel most of our notifications into our IRC channel (GitHub, Hubot, etc). It'd be awesome if we could also include AppVeyor notifications, similar to how we used to for Travis.
Is this planned for the future, or should we look into other ways to do it?

+1, would love this. It's the only feature in the checklist that makes Travis more appealing. I suppose I could run an irc client from a command as part of the build to do the notification, but that doesn't seem very slick :)

I would also very much love to have IRC notifications. All my community engagement is through IRC, and I have travis builds for everything on IRC, but for builds that need to be on windows I have no way of telling whether the build failed except by stalking some web page to check the status.
